Trials, practice games and academy matches all live or die on accurate stats. ForthUmpire is a free cricket scoring app coaches use to record every ball in academy cricket, so player feedback is grounded in numbers, parents can follow trial matches live, and a camp's player-of-the-tournament data writes itself.

Why coaches choose ForthUmpire
Stats for every player
Every practice or trial match captures batting runs, balls, strike rate, fours and sixes, and bowling overs, runs, wickets and economy, so player feedback is data-backed, not from memory.
Review with the squad
Pull up the scorecard and run-rate worm after a session to walk players through what happened: partnerships, run-rate dips, wicket clusters and bowling spells.
Quick Match for net games
For a 6-over practice game between two academy sides, Quick Match has you scoring within a minute with no formal setup required.
Tournament across batches
Run inter-batch or inter-academy tournaments and watch the leaderboards build over the camp: top run-scorer, leading wicket-taker, best strike rate, best economy.
Parents see the trial
For trial matches, share the live link with parents who could not be at the ground so they see exactly how their player did, ball by ball.
Free for the academy
Score every camp and every trial without a subscription. There is no per-session or per-player charge.
From practice match to player report
Score the match ball by ball and you finish with a complete scorecard for every batter and bowler: runs, balls, strike rate, fours, sixes, dismissals, overs, maidens, wickets and economy. For a coach, that becomes the basis of an end-of-camp player report or a selection conversation, without anyone reconstructing the match from memory.
